The Montblanc House, designed by Okazaki-based architectural firm Studio Velocity, is a slim three-story home that eschews traditional building design in favor of open space, sparseness and natural light.
Its open windows spread across all three floors, allowing for fantastic scenic views of the city and an abundance of air and natural light. Looking at these images, one also gets the sense of great flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
But don’t let its slim design and white roof fool you. While the Montblanc House may appear small from the outside, there’s plenty of space to be spoken for on the inside. According to its blueprint, this design includes a kitchen, two children’s rooms, three terraces (two of which are outdoors), three bathrooms, a library and a number of additional areas.
