This Heritage Villa is Getting a Modern Renovation

French Heritage villa, 'Le Trident' is getting a modernized makeover to contrast its white facade. The house was designed by architect Barry Dierks between 1925 and 1950 and is located along the coast of the beautiful French Riviera. Since his death, the villa was used as a rental property until 2011 when the house had a new owner. Studio 4a Architekten took on a project to restore the historic space and to modernize its interior.

The renovation has since finished and its contemporary design bares a drastic contrast to its rustic exterior. The villa keeps its charm and elegance with a much-improved living space while its white exterior is left untouched.

Some key features in the property include a revitalized pool that overlooks an ocean view as well as a round, hanging fireplace that acts as a focal point in the middle of the living room.
