British Folklore-Inspired Fashion

HERESY's SS19 Collection Follow Its Own Heritage Inspiration

HERESY is a fashion label based in South London and it unveils its Spring/Summer 2019 collection with inspiration drawn from British folklore. The collection is described as something that looks towards the "turbulent time for British identity," with the aim to "unearth forgotten icons and diminishing traditions, and find a place for them in modern British society… "Solar Rite."

The collection is showcased through a lookbook captured by Alex McLeish and it explores a plethora of designs, including skatewear, preppy designs, and workwear as well. The standout pieces include the workwear set that features doodled hieroglyphics and Stone Henge motifs as well as the hat to match.
