It has a squat, boxy appeal that takes after the talented performer perfectly. That is, if the designer still wants to pursue giving the light fixture a personality of its own.
Designed by Amsterdam-based Jos Blom, the Henk Table Lamp is made out of two birch ply parts that slide into each other to create a tripod base. The light source itself is encased in two white plastic shells that connect to the base with the help of a colored elastic cord that holds everything together snugly.
