Charitable Cartoon Cat Macarons

The Pierre Hermé Hello Kitty Macarons Benefit Make-A-Wish HK

This year for Macaron Day 2014 on June 21st, Japan's most iconic cartoon cat is having a special set of Hello Kitty macarons created to benefit the Make-A-Wish Hong Kong charity.

Macaron Day started way back in 2005 and each year since, it's become an annual celebration at Pierre Hermé Paris. This year, the Hello Kitty x Pierre Hermé partnership has resulted in a Special Hello Kitty Macaron Gift Box that includes a special Rose Jasmine flavor. On Macaron Day, there will be free macarons given out, special 'Macaron Night' events and even appearances from Hello Kitty herself at the Aoyama shop.

A percentage of the proceeds from donations and macaron sales will go towards Make-A-Wish Hong Kong, helping to make the dreams of youth with life-threatening illnesses come true.
