Haste the Day Features Surreal Images

Haste the Day is a record label with the design by Jonathan McCray. The graphic designer chose to combine various images in a surreal manner to create the packaging design.

The main image used is a crown, with alternating images placed underneath to make up the bottom half of the item. For example, in one picture, an eye can be seen staring back with the pointed ends of the crown protruding from the top. In another, text makes up the bottom half of the crown, featuring words such as Haste the Day and King. Apart from these smaller images, most of the record packaging is made up of a plain colored background with the focus being drawn to these smaller illustrations.
