Controversial ‘Hannah Montana' Season Premiere Axed

The season premiere of ‘Hannah Montana’ was axed by Disney after it received a horrendous response from concerned parents who watched a preview of the episode.

The episode was called "No Sugar, Sugar" and depicts Hannah Montana’s friend Oliver dealing with diabetes. Although the episode was written with the approval of a team of medical experts, parents didn’t feel that the disease was treated seriously enough.

Miley Cyrus was reportedly upset that "No Sugar, Sugar" had been replaced as the ‘Hannah Montana’ season premiere, but continued filming the upcoming music video for her single "Fly on the Wall" on Saturday. Check out Just Jared’s paparazzi snaps of Cyrus heading to the shoot in the gallery.

The controversial ‘Hannah Montana’ episode was replaced with "He Ain’t a Hottie, He’s My Brother." The second episode of the third season airs tonight.
