Team USA is Sharing Videos of Themselves Practising Safe Hygiene

In an effort to promote consistent and proper hand washing to prevent the spread of COVID-19, members of Team USA have taken to sharing videos of themselves washing their hands while they share memories of their favorite moment in the Olympics or Paralympics.

Dubbed the 'Wash With US Challenge,' the campaign promotes the need for everyone to continue to practice safe hygiene to limit the spread of the virus and help keep vulnerable populations safe. A few athletes who have taken part in the hand washing campaign so far include gold medal hockey player Hillary Knight, and gold and silver medal-winning gymnast Laurie Hernandez. Paralympians Melissa Stockwell, a triathlon athletete, and Mallory Weggeman, a swimmer, have also taken part.
