Healthcare technology provider MC10 is now looking to commercialize its Wearable Interactive Stamp Platform, also known as WiSP, in order to expand what this high-tech hand stamp can do.
The stamp is extremely thin, stretchable and disposable, which has made it useful in the healthcare industry for streamlining the sharing of patient information to speed up the organization of procedures. Outside of its medical applications, some of WiSP's potential uses could include providing hotel room access, special event entry and cashless payments, when paired with a mobile device or NFC reader.
These NFC hand stamps can be paired with cloud analytics so that brands can gain a deep understanding of consumer behavior and create experiences that are both highly engaging and personalized. MC10 is now working with PCH in order to explore even more avenues for this inventive product.
