These beautiful lollipops are inspired by the design of traditional Japanese hand fans and, while beautiful and seemingly inedible, are every much so designed to be eaten.
Created by Japan-based artist Shinri Tezuka, the lollipops feature the design and aesthetics of traditional Japanese fans, or uchiwa fans, as they are entitled.
The scrumptious lollipops feature flowing imagery of animals, insects and plants, and are packaged in a simple see-through casing that puts the lolly on display. The artist is renowned for creating lollipops in the likeness of animals, but this collection for the summer takes a different approach with more fixed imagery.
The lollipops inspired by the design of hand fans can be purchased at Shinri Tezuka's shop in Tokyo from now until the end of August.
