Hamster Wheel Car Ads

Kia Soul Commercial Uses Pet Rodents to Show a New Way to Roll

I’m so glad that no animals were hurt during the filming of this commercial for the new KIA Soul automobile. The idea of using animals acting like humans is not new, but these ads always seem to catch our attention and better yet, put a smile on our faces. I just love the music and the sly head nod the hamsters give to the other less fortunate hamsters, who continue to spin on their wheels and not really go anywhere.

This super ad was created by advertising agency David & Goliath, Los Angeles with creative direction by David Angelo, Colin Jeffery, Laurenne Sala, Colin Jeffery, David Cuccinello, and Todd Rone Parker. The copy was written by Mike Van Linda, Sean Vij and Tim White.
