Yet photographer Sophie Gamand, who has captured adorable sudsy pups and accessorized canines in the past, has turned her lens on a group of hairless dogs to show the world just how beautiful they are both inside and out.
Letting their personalities shine through, Gamand comments, "They make me smile and giggle sometimes, but overall I think these portraits are deep and emotional." Getting close and personal with all of the hairless dogs she had as her models, she even noted some of her initial thoughts, "I thought Zuko looked like a buddha, a god, a shaman. He looked like he knew some truth." Appropriately, the series of hairless dogs is titled Prophecy.
