These Häagen-Dazs Mochi Ice Creams Boast Artisanal Flavors

The Häagen-Dazs mochi ice creams have been unveiled by the brand as a new dessert option available exclusively in Japan for consumers to enjoy. The two new flavors include 'Mochi Sakura An' and 'Mochi Walnut Azuki,' which are both positioned as sweet, savory treats that will get ice cream fans ready for spring.

The 'Mochi Sakura An' flavor is crafted from Sakura-flavored ice cream that has been topped with a soft mochi rice cake layer, which is topped with a salty and sweet bean paste with Sakura sauce drizzled overtop the various layers. The 'Mochi Walnut Azuki' is reported to have an Azuki flavor, sweet red beans and a mochi topping made from kuromitsu sugar syrup with chunks of walnut. Each of the flavors are available as of February 27.
