The Mother Daughter Duo Bianca Balti & Matilde Pose for Grey

Grey Magazine recently featured an editorial photo shoot dubbed ‘Daily Chores’ with notorious Italian fashion model Bianca Balti and her adorable little daughter Matilde Lucidi. Grey Magazine had the pair strut their stuff as mother and daughter in Dolce & Gabbana’s 2013 Spring/Summer collection while doing typical chores around the house.

Grey Magazine chose to showcase Bianca’s own daughter Matilde in the shoot rather than hire a professional child model. Interestingly enough, the concept works beautifully as both Bianca -- and especially Matilde -- effortlessly seem at home in their couture frocks hanging up laundry, vacuuming, brushing their teeth and doing each other’s makeup.

While Matilde rocks her mother’s Dolce & Gabbana designs in miniature form and a more kid-friendly design, Matilde still looks ultra-chic in Dolce & Gababana’s silk, lace, nautical and bold symmetrical patterns. Could Matilde have a bright future following in her mom’s modelling footsteps? I definitely think so.
