Glamorized Junk Food Editorials

These Photographs Combine Beautiful Nail Art with Greasy Junk Food

VICE contributor and artist Amy Lombard created images that transform greasy junk food into glamorized dishes by incorporating elegant nail art. The images present drool-worthy meals of fried chicken, pizza and donuts being held by a hand that features beautifully painted nails.

The manicures captured in the images were designed by nail artist Natalie Pavloski. Adding creatively polished nails of metallic gold, vivid blue and even bedazzled nail art to the feminine fingers clutching these greasy junk foods creates a completely different view on junk food.

Amy Lombard was inspired to create this collection of glamorized eats after she photographed a Valentine's Day project at White Castle a few years ago. Her favorite photo was of "a girl with questionable nail art holding a slider." Using this as her inspiration, this photo project began.
