Gran Malo Tamarindo is a tamarind-and-chile flavored Tequila blanco shot created by Casa Lumbre and content creator Luisito Comunica, featuring macerated Mexican chillies and natural tamarind for a tangy, sweet and spicy profile.
Launched in 2021, the bottled 30% ABV shot was designed for precopeo, the Mexican pre-party ritual, and is served ice cold with a bottle-cap serve that doubles as a shot glass. The brand partnered with distributor AliasSmith to roll out the spicy shot across bars, clubs and retail in Europe after earlier expansion in Latin America and select US states.
Its social-media roots and visual, ritualized serve give Gran Malo instant pop on trade lists and social feeds, tapping a growing demand for culturally authentic, ready-to-serve flavored spirits that double as experiential moments.
