The Black Keys, Taylor Swift, Frank Ocean, Gotye and Kanye West, who are nominees at the 55th Grammy Awards ceremony, are such influential celebrities that their work is often remixed by a number of fans.
Take, for example, the use of the song I Got Mine by the Black Keys in a commercial for the music video game Rocksmith. Or, the use of Kanye West’s tweets by Etsy merchant Amy Sheridan for her hand-made embroideries.
