The incredibly minimalist and efficiency-oriented business approach of the grab-and-go coffee is returning to Toronto through the newly launched Milky's.
This is a break from the operational framework that has come to be incredibly common in the city. Full of artisanal cafes, Toronto-style coffee joints are typically a place where the community comes together to socialize, create and freelance. However, Milky's is dedicated to the consumer in a hurry. In a sense, the business accommodates a truly hectic state.
The furniture-less grab-and-go coffee establishment is located on Dundas Street and is characterized by a highly geometric aesthetic. The only surface in the cafe are the "slender shelves [that] are slotted into a small nook."
