MOIRAI's Designs Carry Decadent At-Home Meals

King Crab Cream Coup & Coconut or Thai-Style Grilled Octopus practically brand themselves as gourmet seafood products. But in order to really sell these items as truly exceptional food items, student designers Juan Jose Montes, Vania Nedkova and Alejandra de la Garza developed a unique identity for MOIRAI.

Meaning "portion" in Greek, the images on the MOIRAI boxes show half of the product and half of the dish as it originally began, such as in the form of an octopus or crab. Accented with classic black, white and gold detailing, the boxes have a timeless look that is also simple and easily legible. As upscale as the packaging may be, practicality is introduced with a set of microwave instructions on the back, appealing to those with a taste for the finer things who are also pressed for time.
