The 600-square-foot Blank Slate Gourmet Market is set to offer an assortment of products, including produce, dairy, convenience items, baked goods such as Black Seed Bagels, as well as speciality meats like dry-aged steaks and artisanal burger patties.
Husband-and-wife team Zach Israel and Ashley Jaffe note that: "We were inspired by West Coast market/café combos like Joan’s on Third and Farmshop in Los Angeles, as well as local farm stands out in the Hamptons and the North Fork." As many consumers based in NYC are looking for curated product selections to help them whittle down the overwhelming amount of food choices in the city, the Blank Slate Gourmet Market is set to do just that.
