If you’re a Star Wars fan and go nuts over collector’s items, this is for you. Imperial Enterprise released orders for its 1/35 scale models of the C-3PO cast in pure gold and the silver-made R2-D2. These limited edition figurines are toys, but you wouldn’t want to treat them like one.
The gold C-3PO costs $6,000 and stands at 10 cm tall, weighing 35 grams. The silver R2-D2 is priced at $1,800 and is 6 cm tall and weighs 35 grams. Both purchases of these items will be limited at 35. Another available option that will be unveiled March 26th, 2012 is the silver Star Wars coin that weighs 1 kg at $2,981.
