La Tortilla Factory Now Offers Various Non-GMO Tortilla Options

In response to changing consumers preferences, La Tortilla Factory recently debuted a new lineup of GMO-free tortilla options. Not only are the new wraps free of GMOs, but they also feature other healthy updates such as low-carb recipes and paired-down ingredient lists.

The new GMO-free tortilla collection consists of four options, each of which is designed especially for conscious consumers. The tortillas come in whole-wheat, flour, corn-flour and vegetable varieties and each is made with 20 percent fewer ingredients than other brands. Despite using less ingredients, the products still boast the taste and texture of authentic tortillas. As La Tortilla Factory's Chief Innovation Officer Sam Tamayo explains, "More than ever, consumers are choosing fresher, simpler foods. We really heard them when they said they want fewer, healthier ingredients."
