This Art Recreates Iconic Images with a Gluten-Free Respective

A series of gluten-free art is presented in this project called Gluten Free Museum to share what it is like to live with dietary restrictions through iconic pop culture images. The images that are altered look very different when the bread, beers and burgers are removed.

This art project is showcased on a Tumblr page. The iconic image from The Lady and the Tramp where the two dogs share a plate of spaghetti becomes drastically altered in this gluten-free art. It changes the entire scene and allows the viewer to understand that living a gluten-free lifestyle can be difficult.

The artist removed food from most of the images showing that the options are limited to gluten intolerant people. By taking iconic images and recreating them with a modern twist, this art reflects the abundance of gluten allergies that have been popping up across the globe. The gluten-free art is a humorous look at the real issues faced daily by those who have Celiac disease.
