Reworked Contemporary Office Supplies

Nendo and KOKUYO Focus on Ergonomics on the New GLOO Project

Japanese design studio Nendo works in collaboration with stationary label KOKUYO on the new collaborative GLOO project full of office supplies. The new series highlights reworked designs of contemporary office stationary, which have remained stagnant in design for decades. The refreshing new designs take on an angle that focuses on ergonomics and simple functionality. The GLOO project is comprised of four items in total and eliminates common issues such as losing a glue cap.

The new glue stick takes on a square structure to prevent rolling and easy application to corners. The Roller tape easily adapts to any hands for easy reach of different angles. The instant glue has airtight sensibilities that can be transferred in dots or in lines -- it also has three different levels of adhesion divided by colors. The gray tone stands for standard, red is stronger, and light blue can be pealed and re-glued.
