Plastic Oversized Scarves

Marco van Rijt Shoots an Eclectic Editorial for Glamcult June/July 2011

Plastic scarves, iridescent collars and oversized glen plaid suits a la Pee Wee Herman all make an appearance in this editorial for the Glamcult June/July 2011 issue. Photographer Marco van Rijt captures model Rutger Derksen in an array of contemporary menswear curated by stylist Jean-Paul Paula.

Rutger Derksen strolls on the grounds of a commercial zone replete with stone walls, gigantic vents and endless stairs in the photo shoot, gazing away from the camera and showing off his angled jawline. My favorite outfit from this Glamcult June/July 2011 editorial is the black leather motorcycle jacket and pants; between the black-and-white shot and Derksen's slicked-back hair, the model retains a badass appearance that isn't present in many of the other images.
