Folding Electric Smart-Bikes

The Gi Electric Bike Can Fold Up and Charge Your Phone

Electric bikes aren’t anything new, but one that can fold up and charge your smart phone is—the Gi electric bike does just that. Mariano Bossana of Gi says that, "GiBike is a result of our own necessities." Necessities like portability, powered assistance and smartphone connectivity are all things that the GiBike addresses.

The bike uses the powered assistance to reach a top speed of 15 mph which adds fun and makes any commute quick and effortless. The bike can fold up and be readied for carrying in as little as three seconds. Another awesome feature is the anti-lock system controlled via your smartphone that automatically secures the bike when its owner is more than 10 feet away. LED lights are built into the wheels adding visibility when you’re cycling in the dark and the carbon drive belts aim to prevent dirty clothing and lessen the amount of required maintenance.
