As part of a client’s request in designing a contemporary Moscow apartment in Russia with no bare walls because of the desire for further furnishing, local Russian architecture and design studio Geometrix Designs has taken on a futurist approach towards the apartment that focuses on expansive interior spaces.
As per the client’s request, the design studio was inspired to create a space where all the colors, textures and materials would combine to form a clean yet easy on the eyes look as any imbalances between the walls and furniture could turn the design aesthetics of the apartment in a bad light. "Any overbalance could play a mean trick on us," the architects described.
The apartment takes on various styles as the architects featured a texture wall made from natural rock materials in the living room. The walls of the living room and the lobby were coated with alcantara -- a special type of leather.
