Exhibit Lights Symbolize the Precious Artifacts of Museums and Galleries

Every designer wants his creations to be coveted, but these geometric golden lamps seem even to be made to celebrate themselves. The Mejd Studio of Bratislava, Slovakia, has designed a set of very elegant illuminators that occupy their own display cases.

Effective as either table lamps or pendant lamps, these sculptural fixtures are centered around sections of split spheres. The upper dome acts as a highly reflective lampshade, while the bottom serves as a multipurpose bowl. The rounded forms are spaced and secured to crossing rectangular frames by welding the brass material together. Finished consistently with gold-tinted silver coatings, the Exhibit geometric golden lamps become exquisite display cabinets, open to the air and inviting flowers and other ornaments to be arranged in the bases.
