GenoPalate, a personalized nutrition company that translates biological data into practical dietary guidance, has published a peer-reviewed study in BMC Nutrition, which demonstrated that individuals who make diet and lifestyle changes after receiving genetics-based nutrition insights report significantly higher rates of health improvement compared to those who do not modify their behavior.
GenoPalate's study, which analyzed data from participants who had received the company's genetics-based nutrition report for at least one year, found that 57% of those who made behavior changes reported health improvements, while only 12% of those who did not change their behavior experienced similar benefits, with modest but significant differences in weight change also observed.
The research identified that behavior changes lasting longer than two months were associated with higher reported health improvement rates. It revealed differences across key genotypes in genes including FTO, LEPR, TCF7L2, and PPARG.
