Gateway One

Gateway launched the Gateway One at New York's Digital Life convention this week. It's a good-looking computer, almost similar to a Mac from a design point of view. The all-in-one PC has a super-slim (3.5" deep) design and weighs under 22 lbs. Three versions were created and all come with Windows Vista Home Premium.

"It is intentionally uncluttered, with a single cable connecting to a power brick, a wireless keyboard and touch-sensitive mouse, a detachable 1.3-megapixel Webcam that connects to a USB port atop the monitor, speakers integrated into the front panel, and a power button located on the back of the 19-inch LCD display."

Implications - Though consumers do appreciate technological advancements, the aesthetics of their devices is still a matter of importance.
