Gary Bryan is one artist and photographer who thinks outside of the box when it comes to generating new ideas for his work. His more recent work combines food and photography, but in an extremely original and unusual manner. While many photographers or artists find imaginative ways to photograph food, Gary Bryan gets even more creative and used different types of food as building blocks to construct miniature architectural structures.
Using pieces of white and dark chocolate, wafers and cubes of sugar, Gary Bryan has constructed three different designs including what appears to be a LEGO structure, a modern-day building and ancient ruins. The photographs appear to have a computer-enhanced finish or effect, but Bryan insists that he was able to create the look using different lighting and retouching techniques.
