The Garmin Dash Cam Makes Filing Insurance Claims Infinitely Easier

It's likely you'll see an uptick in American dash cam viral videos after the Garmin Dash Cam is released. The GPS giant is set to launch two cameras, the Dash Cam 10 and Dash Cam 20, designed to give drivers peace of mind while on the road. The cameras affix to your windshield and shoot video in either 1080p, 720p or WVGA. Additionally, the cameras are equipped with a G-Sensor that records data during accidents.

Many in Russia and other parts of the world equip their cars with dash cameras to help expedite insurance claims after accidents. The Garmin Dash Cam should make this process even easier as it records important crash data in addition to providing video. The Garmin 20 even tracks your location using GPS. The Dash Cam 10 will sell for $219.99 and the Dash Cam 20 will go for $249.99. Both will sport 2.3-inch color displays and will be released shortly.
