These Garden Sculptures by Guy Boily are Remarkably Botanic

To celebrate the fusion of horticulture and live arts, the 2013 Montreal's Mosaïcultures Internationales competition in Canada asked contributors to create garden sculptures using leaves, bushes and foliage. These garden sculpture designs were among some of the most remarkable entries and his designs played around with creating portraiture with bushes.

Artists, designers and botanists came together on June 22nd to show off their amazing plant creations. Collectively, the competition uses over 22,000 different types of plants, shows off 30 different gardens with 10 innovative exhibitions. Running until September 29th, this Montreal horticulture exhibition proudly showcases amazing talent from both the botany and design world. Some of my favorite garden sculptures are the detailed portraits of a Greek sculpture woman's face.
These photos in particular were taken by Guy Boily from MIM.
