GameStop Gives and Extra Life Support Children's Miracle Network

Video game label GameStop's social responsibility branch 'GameStop Gives' works in collaboration with 'Extra Life,' a charitable gaming foundation to support Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The collaborative effort brought the first-ever charity event that hosted video game trade-ins. It took place at the Entertainment Electronics Expo, also known as E3 in Los Angeles' Convention Center.

Attendees of the event were encouraged to donate their own video games that would go to children at the 170 CMH hospitals going through medical treatments. The first 150 attendees to donate at the duo's pop-up truck will get a 'golden ticket' that gives them VIP access to the entire convention. Everyone that donates will also get coupons from GameStop, with all trade value of the donated games given to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
