The latest Gü desserts have been unveiled by the premium dessert brand in the UK as a way to cater to consumer demand for treats with a nostalgic inspiration. The desserts come in the form of the Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Jaffa Chocolate Cheesecake, which are each packaged in individual serving pots for easy portioning. The desserts will arrive in two packs priced at £3.95 at Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Tesco and Morrisons as part of the brand's strategy to satisfy demand for indulgent treats as we head into the cold weather months.
Master Patissier Fred Ponnavoy spoke on the new Gü desserts saying, "Working on these two British classics was an absolute treat in the Gü kitchen. We packed in loads of juicy dates for that rich, squidgy texture everyone loves, stirred in a splash of Madagascan vanilla and finished with a thick, velvety toffee sauce for pure, gooey comfort."
