Each piece varies in proportion and surface character, with many combining bulbous silhouettes, concave indentations, and layered accretions that emphasise tangible material presence.
The ceramic lights are constructed using traditional hand-building and coiling techniques, allowing the clay body to retain organic gestures and uneven topology. Surfaces are finished with layered glazes that range from matte to semi-lustre, with visual variation and subtle mottling that responds to kiln temperature and firing reactions. Some pieces display striated glaze transitions, while others exhibit localized glaze pooling that emphasises surface undulation.
