Future Château wines are headed to the UK market as a new series of alcoholic refreshments thought up by Tom Benn that responds to the increasing popularity of low and no-alcohol products. The wine range is launching as a Selfridges exclusive lineup with red, white and sparkling wines to choose from that each have a mid-strength profile with a 5% ABV. The wines were created using ancient traditions that naturally lowered the amount of alcohol in the final product, while the brand also utilizes gentle processes to not affect the final product.
Benn commented on the Future Château wines saying, "Most of the low & no conversation is about moderation. I’m more interested in creating a wine that’s genuinely sessionable – something you want to drink mid-week because it tastes great, not just because it’s lower alcohol. It’s not about abstinence or moderation mantras, it’s about making wine a luxury fit for modern life."
