Colossal Pinwheel-Adorned Buildings

George Zisiadis Plans to Turn This Building into a Fun Museum

Artist George Zisiadis has been commissioned by the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History to add whimsical, colorful life-sized pinwheels to turn this average museum into a fun museum.

These giant pinwheels would be put in place to add wonder and interactivity to city hot spots and public areas. The pinwheels spin upon visitors blowing into customized horns, which would be located on the main foyer. Along with these hand-on aspects, the building is going to be covered with geometric shapes and bright designs.

By turning normal buildings into eye-catching interactive places, this will attract more tourists and keep the essence and energy of the city alive; people will remember the city for its eccentric, quirky features and by attracting visitors and family to this common area, there will be a sense of playful camaraderie throughout the community.
