Emoji-Inspired Cocktail Recipes

Midori and Emojipedia Created Fruit Cocktails Based on Emojis

As part of its celebrations of National Melon Day in August, Midori collaborated with Emojipedia.org founder and Jeremy Burge to create a fun range of fruit cocktails inspired by emojis.

The aim of these recipes is to make consumers aware that Midori's vibrant green 'Original Melon Liqueur' is actually made with an infusion of Japanese melons, much like the one that can be found on an emoji keyboard. For 'The Midori Emoji-To,' 'Melon Mint Cooler' and the 'Melon Oasis,' lemon, strawberry, peach and pineapple emojis make it easy for consumers to quickly see the ingredients that are needed for a given recipe at a glance.

Since it's often said that a picture is worth a thousand words, it's no surprise that emoji icons are now becoming integrated into restaurant menus and campaigns across the food and beverage industry.
