Sitcom-Inspired Makeup Lines

Revolution Beauty Created an Official Friends Makeup Line

Soon, Revolution Beauty will be unveiling its official Friends makeup line, which is full of references to the 90s sitcom. The collection boasts three nine-shade eyeshadow palettes and three bullet lipsticks inspired by female friends Phoebe Buffay, Rachel Green and Monica Geller.

The packaging for Phoebe Buffay's palette shares a snapshot of her taxi cab and it's full of humorously named shades like Smelly Cat, Lobster and Triplet. When it came to creating each of the products, Revolution Beauty founder Adam Minto told Allure that "We looked at each character in detail—what they wear, their mannerisms, the makeup they use, the personalities—and started to build from there."

Notably, Revolution Beauty is the only beauty brand that has been allowed to adapt the Friends font and logo into its own Revolution logo for the makeup line.
