Freshly Refills Reduce Cosmetics Industry Waste

Freshly Cosmetics newly launched a refill system for its products called Freshly Refill and the Spanish company's new cardboard packaging contains more than 75% vegetable fibers. According to the company, this initiative will reduce the carbon footprint by 92% with respect to glass containers.

With this system, Freshly Fans can easily and sustainably replenish favorite products like body oil, facial cleanser, face treatments, hair sprays, body serums and hair growth treatments. Soon, the Freshly Refill range will also include the company's Blue Radiance Enzymatic Serum and the Vitamin C Concentrate Serum. The refills arrive in slim, 100% recyclable packaging that can easily be used to top up containers.

These refill pouches are geared toward consumers who believe in a better future and want to hold "the future of cosmetics in [their] hands," as stated on the packaging.
