Minimalist White-Washed Apartments

FREAKS FreeArchitects Update a Condensed Home

The firm FREAKS FreeArchitects recently tackled an update to a small apartment in Geneva, and managed to do a lot considering the restricted space.

The area, to put it bluntly, is tiny, so the team was challenged with making the space look much more open. For more specificity, the space is a total of 35 meters squared, so every little bit counts. The FREAKS FreeArchitects members decided to separate the home into two distinct areas: one space for the public activities and another for the private. The bed and resting area is set in a certain section, with another space for when the owner has people over. Moreover, the designers went with a white-washed look, which actually makes the space look larger. Photo Credits: designboom, freaksfreearchitects
