Elemental Bohemian Catalogs

Free People’s Holiday 2013 Offering Gets Back to Nature

If you love dressing for the holidays but want to get away from all the glitzy, sparkly fashions that come with the territory, look no further than Free People. The bohemian brand take us back to nature in their biggest annual catalog, with each of its five chapters themed after a different element.

First up are Earth and Water, which were shot in Iceland starring model Martha Hunt. Earth is all about warm tones and soft, comfy apparel layers, underlined by the mossy beach environment, while Water captures winter’s chilly side in silver and blue hues against a glacier backdrop. Karlie Kloss was the face for the Air chapter, shrouded in ethereal dresses to match, with Fire centered on holiday gifts in a comforting cabin scene. Lastly, Spirit aims to tap into the essence of each featured model, keeping shots simple in black and white.
