Shoppable Fashion Storefronts

Fred Segal and Mastercard Created a 'Rock ‘n Roll Holy Land'

Window displays are often designed to do little more than catch the eyes of consumers and inspire them to enter a physical retail space, but Fred Segal and Mastercard recently teamed up to redefine "window shopping."

Ahead of the music festival season, Fred Segal and Mastercard launched the 'Rock ‘n Roll Holy Land' on Sunset Boulevard. The retail storefront is styled as an immersive exhibit that offers a look into the history of the Sunset Strip through various stories and memories.

While the store features exclusive merchandise from brands and artists such as Gene Simmons of KISS and Def Leppard's Phil Collen, those who are unable to make the opening hours of the store can take advantage of an alternate way to shop. The digital storefront offers a "Tap to Shop" option that lets customers add virtual items to a cart, make a purchase via their smartphone, walk away without bags and receive their ordered items at a later date.
