Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Island will welcome yet another global architectural gem in the Foster + Partners Zayed National Museum. The high-flying structure's plans have been unveiled, revealing five steel-lattice winglike towers that will work to keep the building cool in the hot climate.
Intended as a historical and cultural center for the UAE, the megastructure will house an art gallery at ground level and a series of elaborate outdoor passageways. The Foster + Partners Zayed National Museum was named after the founder of the UAE and will soon add to the Middle Eastern mirage that is Abu Dhabi.
