Fossil's New Watches Boast a Snapdragon Wear 4100+ Processor

American fashion brand Fossil has announced the release of the 'Gen 6' series smartwatches, an upgraded version of the company's popular 'Apple Watch' alternative. The new line of digitized timepieces comes complete with a comprehensive update that includes a host of hardware improvements.

The biggest update the 'Gen 6' smartwatches present is a brand new processor. Every model belonging to the 'Gen 6' series will be powered by the Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor, which means users can expect a more responsive experience with faster load times and better battery management. In addition, Fossil has ensured that these new watches come equipped with faster charging times; one 30 minute charge will get the battery to an 80% fill.

The watch comes in either a 44mm or 42mm stainless steel case with a 1.28-inch touch screen and waterproofing up to 3ATM. The 'Gen 6' series smartwatches are currently available for pre-order on Fossil's website.
