Ford has unveiled its first electric van that will hit the road in 2011. The Ford 2011 Transit Connect Electric Van is powered by a 135-KW electric motor with a powerful lithium-ion battery.

There is an additional standard 12 volt battery to power headlights, power-steering, cooling pumps and heater of Transit Connect Electric Van.
Transit Connect Electric Van is attached with an electric cord for 110 and 220 Volt sockets. The average speed is expected to be 75 miles per hour.
