April Fool's Day has trained consumers to second-guess everything and brace for made-up products on fake brand announcements, which is exactly why Yasso chose the start of April to kick off its Foolproof Freezer campaign. "The entire premise of the holiday is that someone's being made to look foolish, and that's exactly what we believe the better-for-you frozen treat category has been doing to consumers for years: when frozen brands overpromise and underdeliver," said Kelsey Gill, senior brand manager for marketing operations at Yasso.
While other brands pull pranks, Yasso is out to prove that better-for-you treats aren't a joke. Yasso's teaming up with entrepreneur and candid content creator Bethenny Frankel for a campaign centered on filling freezers all month with 40,001 craveable, protein-packed Yasso Spoonables.
