This Valentine's Day, Foodora and Durex are coupling up to offer lovers a more sensual dining experience. The companies have collaborated with Canadian sexologist Dr. Carlen Costa as well as the head chefs at restaurants in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver to create special, limited-edition menu items from natural aphrodisiacs.
According to Dr. Costa, so-called aphrodisiacs can have many different health benefits beyond the sexual aspect. These include reducing stress, increasing blood flow, and stimulating the flow of dopamine to the brain.
Foodora and Durex's 'Valentine's Day Couples Specials' will only be available on February 14th, so couples will have just one chance to try the unique menu creations. Some of these dishes include the 'Sexy Smoothie Bowl' from Toronto's Calii Love, which comes with cacao and mixed berries, and 'The Cupid' from Montreal's Pizzeria Magpie, which has "libido-boosting" roasted asparagus and garlic oil.
