The Design of 'Softie Wanted' Celebrates Foam Fabrication

Mandy Roos and Victoria Ledig came together to create a series of foam fabrications for Form&Seek that celebrate a mutual love of "the beautiful, the ugly and the awkward." The result of the collaboration is a quirky furniture collection called 'Softie Wanted' that makes use of industrial foam as the star material.

The pieces give a new meaning to the protective foam materials that are typically used to support other objects, but in a much more artful way. The lounge furniture collection also speaks to a growing consumer desire to upcycle and reurpose unconventional materials for use as furnishings and other decor items within the home.

The striking Softie Wanted collection was exhibited at this year's Ventura Lambrate.
